Why madara can use kamui

Sasuke cut him in half, making his body lighter, as well as only using kamui on half his body. Too lazy to post pictures, but he is really cut in half, his lower half is shown on the ground slightly in the panel when Sasuke slightly turns around and goes !!. He did not kamui through Sasuke's blow. So the bigger question is how is Madara gonna fight... He is cut in half. Hashi healing DNA can only do so much bruh!

Obito was cut in half before, literally healed in seconds, and this is while he chakra was being pulled out. He can probably use kamui because the sage tools that he spit out were restricting its use for Obito.

I'm not sure if they truly cut him in half it was more like stabbing through his chakra imo. We literally have madara in TWO pieces

Madara's lower half will regenerate it's top half, and his top half will regenerate it's bottom half. He cloned himself because hax.

God, these threads are everywhere.

It was never stated that he couldn't travel to kamui. He couldn't "let things pass through him" which isn't the same as just going to kamui, for instance like how when he traveled to the kamui dimension when he had to save naruto.
Obviously both techniques take him to kamui but Apparently, in different ways.
We can tell this b/c his "intangibility" (quotes b/c it's not really intangibility) is instant while when he travels the other way it takes some time.
