Why Madara becoming Hokage may not have been a good idea?

As you know no other clan values love more than the Uchiha clan. When loved one is lost or they suffer despair. Special chakra sprouts up from the brain affecting the optic nerve and creating the sharingan. Prolly said too much... Anyway with the loss of his personally valued little brother. Madara would have gone mad on the senju clan the ones that posed a threat to the uchihas which is why Izuna gave his sharingan to madara to protect them.

In short Madara would have done far worse to the Senju clan than what Tobirama did to the uchiha clan. Thus he would've split up the village and it would be all out war again.

Possibly. I never trusted Madara, and besides, the people of Konoha, even the Senju, wanted Hashirama and Tobirama. That must really sting when your own people don't want you.

Before Madara turned evil he started that when Hashirama killed him (not really) when he was in his hideout for years he plotted that but didn't have the power to do it.

I personally think if he was trusted enough to be Hokage and didnt feel the pressure from the Senju on his clan he wouldve had no reason to want to put the world in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Thats not to say something else couldnt have happened to lead him in that direction but its definately possible things would have turned out better as far as Senju/Uchiha relationship goes.
