My theory is that Lucy had to make wager.

We know that the Eclipse requires the 12 golden Zodiac keys.

And I think the zodiac spirits would die if used for the project eclipse.

So Lucy didn't want to sacrifice the zodiac spirits so that's probably why she closed the door.

Personally, I think she saw an imminent danger through the door - either the 10000 dragons or Zeref - and she closed it. Atleast, that's the most logical explanation from the last chapter as it seems weird that neither dangers were seen from nearby range.

yeah most probably this. the dragons are about to strike but they still can't be seen at any sides. I guess they'll come from the gate. that would be logical then why she closed it.

what if the dead dragons in the dragon graveyard come back to life because of the gate? or the time magic from eclipse , bring the dragons from the past that were in the graveyard to the future?

That's what I think too. The zodiac spirits will be like sacrifices and that's why Lucy will maybe close the door! If it's not this, why Arcadios speak so much in Celestial Spirit Mage and spirits?

Lucy must see something with the eclipse door no one else sees, all and all it must be a good reason why she wants to shut it maybe it unleases that dystopian future levy, apparently is forced to live in?

I sincerely hope that Lucy doesn't pull off a Sakura! I hope she has a damn good reason, but I doubt sacrificing all of humanity just to save her spirits is a wise move..
