hagoromo said that the reason why he was able to emerge was because madara's lower half contained hashirama,madara and the tentails but then he said rather it contains ninetails,indra and ashura
with hashirama and madara it was pretty straight-forward
madara got hashi's chakra through his dna making him awaken the rinnegan and then become the juubi jinchuuriki
but it's a little different with naruto and sasuke
sasuke is uchiha like madara but naruto isn't senju,he's uzumaki

hashirama(ashuras reincarnate) didnt need extra power to fight madara(indras reicarnate)but naruto(ashura's reincarnate) did for sasuke(indra's reincarnate).
madara says one awakened the sixpath senjutsu and rinnegan but he has both powers-hagromo's power chakra

the main difference is that naruto had half of kurama with a small portion of the other bijuus chakra
