Why Kishi?

Naruto used to be in my top 3 manga but ever since the fourth shinobi war started there have only been a handful of decent chapters. It seems like Kishi's just dragging the story now.

Putting unnecessary chapters, unnecessary pages and so much BS that it's not even a Ninja manga anymore. What ever happened to the good old days when the Rasengan was one of the most powerful jutsu?

There are many flaws with the story right now but the most irritating thing for me right now is the character development! These last 100 or so chapters have gone into detail about character motives and decisions that are all over the place. For example: Sasuke was my favourite character. First he's good, then evil, then good, remains good, turns to the dark side (Oro), remains under Oro but still has good in him, goes completely berserk, goes even more crazy and now he's suddenly mr. nice guy who wants to be hokage.

MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND!! It seems like you're just looking for a way to keep Sasuke involved in the plot.


I will still follow Naruto but on a scale of 10, Naruto is a 3 right now.

Maybe it's because you want to keep the franchise alive but I'd rather see a phenomenal ending of Naruto in the near future then the story to drag for another 3 years and see a sh*tty ending.

I'm just going to come out and say it, you're kinda doing it for the money now.

About Sasuke, he is a deuteragonist, second most important character, he may switch from being with or against the protagonist depending on the deuteragonist's own conflict/plot.

At the underlined, you say that as though that just happened haphazardly in the last 6 chapters. You realize that you just described 640 chapters worth of development for Sasuke. Nothing about that equates to "decisions all over the place."

It seems people just want reasons to whine.

Meh, I don't feel that way right now. So many manga outshine it and they don't get half the recognition Naruto does.

Ah, enough is enough. Even anti-heroes in comics don't switch sides as often as Sasuke does.

It feels the same way for me as well. Sasuke's character development is just all over the place...and this war arc is dragging on for far too long. Kishi should consider taking a break like Kubo is currently.

As soon as Aizen died, Kubo should have wrapped it up. Kishi should do the same with Naruto after the war, Naruto is slowly losing it's quality and dying.

Every arc (except filler) up to the war arc has been absolutely amazing. Akatsuki, Pain, Summit, Danzo so many loveable moments!!

Early part of war arc was also really good (Gin & Kin, Masked man still a mystery, everything foreshadowing). Now that everything is revealed, the only suspense is Madara's "trump" card, the sage of six paths and Kakashi's mask.

Naruto was never really a ninja manga to be honest from the very beginning. Kishimoto while creating a manga first thought of priests (in Japanese way of understanding this word) which are warriors against evil spirits. Then he came up with ninjas cos he wanted them (for some reason) to wear forehead protectors.

In real world, real shinobi can't form rasengans, chidoris, can't summon huge animals that don't exist anyway. In real world there are no tailed beasts, people don't flying thunder god themselves, people eyes are normal and the special ability eyes posses is that we see through our eyes, we can't cast black flames, we don't create wood plants with our body... (I think you know where I'm heading to)

In shounen manga, as the plot progress, powers reach bigger scale (bleach or dragon balls for example). In shounen manga people can do all mention above and more...

Kishi has always done that for money, from the very beginning, there's no need to mention that, it's much less likely that now he's doing it for money since he already earned millions throughout last few years. It seems more logical that now he'd be doing it cos he wants or to finish contracts with other parties involved in Naruto manga.

And finally, people like to complain cos people are different and like different things, it's your right to dislike the war arc if it doesn't go the way you'd like but at the same time it's Kishimoto who is Naruto's author and he'll write it/ draw it the way he sees it in his mind.
I personally see it differently than you. Obito's cool, smart, cunning and evil. He's got serious mental issues (similar to Sasuke). Obito's mind was played by Madara when Obito was still a kid. Even though, he was never Madara's pawn. Kabuto himself mentioned to Madara that Obito (the other Madara) doesn't want to follow the plan. (Madara's plan).
He never wanted to resurrect Madara, from the very start. Obito himself states to Madara he never was his friend. Obito clearly has different goals than Madara.
They are both designed as evil gods, where Madara would be something like a cunning cold evil while Obito is a crazy unpredictable evil.
Obito does not only remember Rin, the photo clearly shows all his team. For me it represents his mind, memories and personality he had to keep together in order to control the Juubi ( which is mindless and not in full form, which makes it easier to control than a beast with brains).
In general, both of our villains were created god like so that main protagonist of the manga can do the same. We all know Naruto will become the sage (this way or another, in this or that form). It's been shown by Kishi clearly. Anybody who'd ask how can the alliance win, should just take a look on the tittle of the manga they read and realize this is the answer... (a bit off topic).
Anyway, we all have different needs and we all like different things, the point is, the more you will complain the more you will feel bad about it, yet it will change nothing to the manga...

1. The curse of hatred ( which is the most important thing, since nobody has an answer to it)
2. What will happen after the war, will there be peace? or are the cities going to fight each other again.
3. Sasuke is the last living Uchicha which can reproduce, what will happen with him?

No wonder. When the author pretty much gives up on his own manga imagine how the quality will suddenly drop.
