It isn't that simple, God, do you really think Obito saw Rin die and then thought that world domination and losing his identity was the way to avenge her? :sy:

Rin's death acted as the catalyst causing him to question the ninja world, which led to a chain of events making him who he is, it was what helped him start to build his philosophy but is by no means the sole cause, stop thinking so simplistically, look at this post for more details

I see what you mean but saying it is because Rin died doesn't add up, you know that just as well as I do, so you know it makes sense that it is only the root of his change not the full cause of it.
