Why Kinkaku & Ginkaku wait so long for coup d'état?

Firstly they were swallowed by 9tails & somehow survived by eating 9tails chakra making them miniature versions of the beast.Now this incident must have taken place before Madara & Hashirama fight bcus after that kurama was labelled by Hashirama as Konoha's pet.
Secondly Hashirama had died after seeing Tsunade(so let us assume he died quite old).And Tobirama must have become Hokage after his death only bcus hashi has no clue wht tobirama done 2 d Uchiha & 2 d village.
and finally Kinkaku forces start their coup d'état during Tobirama visit 2 Kumogakure as hokage bcus shortly after that Raikage died and Tobirama sacrifice himself 2 save his team.
So wht took Kinkaku forces so long 2 plan for coup d'état?

Ehh.. I guess they took a while. I dont think they would be able to do anything with Hashirama alive. Tobirama was their only opening before they die of old age haha
