Well there has to be some jutsu he used to control Kakashi so if Madara was revived in his prime why hasn't he used it yet?

Its very possible, remember when Obito was running towards KAkashi and Rin that he started seeing what Kakashi was seeing. Somehow Madara manipulated the genjuutsu to go through Obitos eye to Kakashis eye. Its true that there is a connection since Kakashi and Obito both activated the mangekyo at the same time.
