Why kakashi killed Rin

im like 85% sure kakashi killed rin because they were out numbered and then kakashi being the intelligent person he is knowing that they will probably die kills rin because if she gets captured she will break and release info to the hidden mist, its this or she has a special kkg and kakashi doesnt want the mist to have it so he kills her . so im guessing this is the reason why kakashi is calling himself trash in chapter 608 because he feels he didnt follow obitos words about abandoning friends
