Why Kakashi doesn't copy techniques anymore?

Kakashi's nickname is the copy ninja and is well-known over the world for that, but apart from the fight against Zabuza and against Kisame in part1, Kishi never used his copy ability anymore. What's the importance of a nickname if you're not even able to prove it? Do you think that Kishi wanted to limit the functionality of his sharingan on purpose? Or is it plot?

from what we can tell, Kakashi copied all techniques he has but those Earth and Lightning ones, maybe even those he did, from what we know the only technique he created is Chidori and Raikiri (since it's advanced Chidori xd)
