there is not ONE scan of evidence that supports what you people are saying.. Outright wishful thinking.... Jiraya taught naruto how to beat genjutsu to go against people like itachi, why didn't he teach him how to fight with no eye contact? knowing naruto is also weak against it why didn't he teach him to NOT make eye contact?

He simply taught him the same chakra release technique oro used... Kakashi was the one that told them not to make eye contact at all..

and that information would have been available to jman once he returned to village and danzo got overconfident. he was sure he would win hell i would too with ten izanagis

Im not debating who'd win because i see them as equals, BUT How would jiraya damage Itachi if he puts Amatersu on Susanoo? Itachi can do hand to hand combat but his true fighting style is ranged, from genjutsu, to ninjutsu. Itachi's Tactics are far greater too.

Yata's Mirror with seal , and when he seals it doesnt necessarily have to be Jiraya being sealed, but Ma and Pa. IF Itachi sealed Ma and Pa & Jiraya would NOT be sealed from Yata's because Orochimaru was sealed from Yata's and Sasuke wasnt, seeing they were conjoined as Ma, Pa, and Jiraya would be. Itachi wouldnt be dumb enough to just go for Jiraya, he'd take out the distractions. After Ma and Pa are sealed, that leaves him vulnerble to Tsukuyomi


Example: Nagato and his summons, Sasuke and Orochimaru, Kabuto and Madara/Edo's.

Itachi got rid of the summons of Nagato's before he sealed Nagato away where as he coulda aimed for Nagato like Bee and Naruto.

If Itachi wanted to kill sasuke Back when they first fought he would have. But first he would have tooken out Orochimaru than Sasuke with Yata's.

Right now Itachi's battling the Edo Technique(Mentally to win the war or help ease it upon the shinobi's) and first he has to take out Kabuto in order to do so.

Itachi will take out any distractions, then find a weak point in the Jutsu as he showed against Nagato and as of now Kabuto

Seeing how you descibed Jiraya on what he'd do, here's also what Jiraya would do.
Jiraya would batttle Itachi-- kill some illusions, Itachi amatersu couple times-- Itachi overwelms with shurikens kunais, fire tech-- Jiraya sage mode-- Jiraya overwelms itachi with hair needles, fire tech, oil-- Itachi susanoo, susanoo shurikens -- Jiraya calls out Ma and Pa, Itachi seals Ma and Pa, Itachi Tsukuyomi done.

Too bad thats NOT gonna happen and what you say of what Jiraya countering wont always happen either. Amatersu is different than Konan's paper Tech, not to mention Konan and Itachi are completly different. How's Jiraya going to get behind Itachi in susanoo? Jiraya isnt the 4th Raikage in super saiyan.

But as i said before I do not think Itachi would win nor lose. I see Jiraya and him as Equals.

Btw you dumb fool you forgot Jiraya's ultimate move... RASENGAN. But yeah you made Itachi seem dumber than he is..
