why isnt obito using the rinnegan at all

His abilities with the rinnegan haven't been shown to be even close to on par with Pain/Nagato, so lets not compare them. I bet Obito just feels more comfortable using the MS, and maybe him having the rinnegan depletes his chakra too fast or something (he's not an uzumaki like Nagato, so he probably can't use it as long as Nagato can) I bet he's saving power.

hmmm, i think it's because he doesn't want to use it yet. i think he's saving it for when he fights for serious. right now he's just effing around, even with lord kakashi.

so my guess is when obito gets pushed in the corner, he'll use it.

i think hes trying to prove a point to kakashi...he clearly let himself get him, Obito will not get TnJ as much as people think it will happen....i honestly think hes going to become more of a problem then madara, but as to using the rinnegan, it comes down to what kishi decides.... technically he has the ability to use them. i mean he is the ultimate senju/uchicha member, i mean shit infinite chakra, and self healing body, no need for sleep, no food, lol

Maybe obito forgot to read the instructions i mean afterall he did obtain a rinnegan aka the most powerful dojutsu once possessed by the sage i mean think about it if you got a new toy or even a mobile phone or something like that and it's something you've heard so much hype about and you were looking forward to playing with it would you bother to read the instructions to see how it works?.......HELL NO!. But don't worry guys obito will realise that kakashi is too much for him that he'd wish he read the instructions on how to use the rinnegan before starting a freakin war!.

well for starters hes been using the rinnegan in the first place on the tailed beast. and seccond nagato was skilled with rinnegan as he had over 30 years with it, obito noes what the rinnegan can do hes just not using it at its full

There can be several unknown reasons:
1. Maybe it's because he only has 1, and to fully utilize it, he needs 2
2. Maybe he can't utilize it because he wasn't born with it
3. Maybe he doesn't want to waste chakra
4. Maybe he doesn't know how
5. Maybe he doesn't want to

No one will know unless kishi reveals it, but it's definite that he can utilize atleast some if not all of it's abilities, since he could control the gedo mauzou and use the juubi

But I think the bigger question is, why hasn't Madara used his yet, if he can?
