Why isn't Obito going full OP?

I feel like Obito wasn't even trying or using everything at his disposal, like even when he was/or still is as Juubito; feels like that he's metaphorically lazy sheathing a perfect susanoo like Madara.

Granted that, he was pretty much deteriorating slowly (well he was fighting everybody else by himself though still don't see why he should have got owned with all the power he had and before) but even before he was Juubito, he was moderately OP especially his Kumai yet he should have owned Naruto straight away (plot armor I guess) since he wasn't using his Rinnegan, Senju DNA so wood style, and everything else especially to their full potential (was it because he wanted to hear Naruto's answer?)

Furthermore, when he got the Juubi's power, he should have less Rin flashbacks (although this could have been the way Kishi was drawing the manga and Naruto's & Kishi's fault and not the actual character but damn less Rin flashbacks!) and more being more OP which I meant just own everyone straight, I mean you had the Juubi's power so use it. I feel like he really isn't just trying and only going out like with 10% or something.

He should of used Kumai as Juubito because even though people had the counter argument that Kakashi would do something, well it would be trouble for Kakashi if he had tried something with someone has the Juubi's power.

What do you guys think?

On a side question, why do people keep underestimating him plot wise lol? Everyone keeps thinking he is going to die and eventually troll everyone the billionth time

Plot restrained obito he could've just tbb spammed and killed thm all easily. They can't warp away near fast enough and he could've erected a barrier on the tree.

Pre juubito he was only fighting a defensive fight. He isn't trying to waste chakra on killing them himself because he needs his chakra to control the juubi when it transforms.
As for when he was juubito, he was simply cocky. Liiike example gohan when he turned ssj2 against cell. He was a cocky a-hole and got his dad killed.

he didnt care about fighting as much as his plan and his plan didnt matter as much as breaking narutos will which backfired unfortunatly against him because madara took advantage of that split second to rinne rebirth.

i was thinking that aswell, because like naruto obitos will was broken. all he needs is naruto's chakra or a tailed beast to fuse with him to spare him. it will help him cope with being betrayed and this time he will have friends to help him aka naruto, kakashi and might guy, possibly sasuke aswell if he doesnt hold a grudge. him defeating madara with everyone would earn his forgiveness from most of the allied shinobi. thinking about it why isnt ino trying to take control of black zetsu to free obito or keep him still. have tsunade heal him before zetsu is removed by inos control immediatly.... i know she doesnt have granny chiyo's powers but she or the first may be able to still help obito.

i just doubt after kakashi and minatos long speech about obito needing to redeem himself and work with the alliance to defeat madara, would die after something as small as zetsu possession. i think he is just low on chakra like sasuke was when orochimaru took over his body temporarily to fight itachi, but idk i hope he takes control soon. he mastered control over the ten tails, seperatly all hated obito, but still over came the jyuubi's control and he maintained control .

I won't say "PnJ" because it's more like "Kishi isn't that good of a writer" - No consistency at all and then people try to damage control it by saying "PnJ" and those same people don't even realize it. Kishi is good in some areas but consistency is definitely not one of them.

Obito should of wiped the floor with the whole Alliance. Kishi made him too OP and then had to contradict or "hold back" him.

I believe obito sucked and only had kamui crutch as his main strong point. Any villain that can only fight or is strong only because of invulnerability is a terrible villain. Obito have his best the entire time it's just his fans that want to believe what they want. It's never been suggested that he was good at mokuton, taijutsu, speed, rinnegan techs or anything not dealing with kamui. The only thing he's ever been suggested to be good in is kamui and genjutsu, anything else is unsupported fanfic. He couldn't have done anymore and there was nothing being held back for him.
