Why isn't Obito able to stay in his dimension in more than 5minutes?

Now that i think about it, Konan stated that Obito can't remain intangible during more than 5minutes in succession, and we all know that the "intangible mode" she was refering at is when Obito warps part of his body in his dimension.

So does it mean that Obito's body can't stay in the dimension in more than 5minutes in succession? But why is it so?

1- Is there a sort of restriction when you get in that dimension?

2- If it is the case, is this restriction applied to everybody in the dimension or is Obito the only one who can't?

3- Does that mean that someone like Kakashi for example who got warped in that dimension can't stay there for very long also?

But that doesn't make sense since we know that Danzo's bodyguards remained in that dimension during a long long time controlled by his genjutsu

Good question!

Maybe you have to come back out before a full 5 minutes or you will be stuck there forever, and this applies to Obito too?

He can't stay intangible for 5 minutes. That means he cant warp parts of his body into the other dimension while the other parts remain in this dimension for more than 5 minutes. Am pretty sure Sasuke stayed for more thna 5 mins after Tobi warped him into his dimension after the fight with the kages.

That probably means he cant stay in 2 places at once, if his body parts are in the naruto world and others are in in his dimension over the time limit he will cease to exist,

I think its an arbitrary time limit put by kishi, otherwise Obito will be too much OP with sharingan, rinnegan and unlimited intangiability...

My bet is that staying intangible is dangerous in the long run.

Think about it, intangibility means simply Obito warping just PARTS of his body to the other dimension, while the rest stays in the real one. How can he still be alive with his body defragmented? Obviously, he can, and for some reason, the body is not hurt or anything after he warps the part of it back to the real dimension.
But it still is something unnatural, so I think it's kind of like holding your breath. You don't need to breathe all the time, but if you stop doing it for too long, you're screwed. To my mind, the same applies to Obito's intangiblity.

Manga has not provided as with the answer as of yet, though. U_U

And no, this restriction doesn't apply to everyone, only Obito (look how long Sasuke, Karin and Danzo's ANBU were kept in there and were fine). In fact, it doesn't really apply to Obito as well - it simply applies to everyone using intangibility.
