I actually really like the current arc of Bleach and don't know why the fullbring arc would really kill it for anyone. Once you read it it's over and you can move on, I personally didn't mind it much anyways. I think the anime ending might be a big reason, as there are a LOT of anime only fans for plenty of series, so they probably stopped once the Bleach anime ended and never read the manga.
I know this arc has been horrible with the pacing lately but I wouldn't drop it because of that, there's plenty to look forward to for me. Like seeing the rest of the bankai we have yet to see and everyone's full strength, zero squad possibly fighting, the soul king, Juha Bach at full power, the rest of the sternritter's abilities, etc. It's really exciting to think about, problem is that there's been very little progress lately with the pacing.
