why isnt an uchiha a jinjuriki?

they seem to be a bloodline that can control and even match the power of a tailed beast! so why hasn't there been a uchiha junjuriki?
we all know that the uchiha tried to bust a coup d'etat but im sure not all uchiha agreed! there must have been some really honorable uchiha who would use their sharingan for good (like itachi).With the tailed beast being as strong as they are it would make sense to have a uchiha jinjuriki to control it like tobi did if a tailed beast was to break out on a rampage. if anyone is built for a jinjuriki it should be either uchiha or uzumaki. choosing anyone else is a stupid gamble even though the host may be strong. regardless of what i typed i dont like the uchiha much (too emo for me) but credit has to be given. still think Uzumaki's are far superior in every way don't get me wrong (have to represent suckas!) it would be nice to see this so naruto can have a decent punching bag to get strobger on.

Jinchuriki hosts have to be directly related to a Kage. Uchiha, so far aren't realated directly to any of them.

This is true, in Kurama's case, all the Jinchuriki are of Uzumaki descent. But Masashi states, that the Jinchuriki hosts, are related to the Kage of a village. Since no Uchiha has made Kage level. (Minus Tobi, controling Yagura, but that was after Yagura reached Kage..)
