Katsuya- I think Katsuya is underated. No she isn't really a battle slug but consider this a hundred of those kid-sized katsuyas spitting acid. Or given how Tsunade was able to heal the village through Katsuya and she was going to kill Orochimaru with Medical Ninjutsu if a small katsuya a few inches long is stuck on an opponent Tsunade needs only to channel the technique through Katsuya to kill an opponent. I can see Tsunade inacting this jutsu while multitasking as she always holds the jutsu that keeps her looking young, while using augmented monster strength, while using forbidden jutsus, or how she keeps up her technique while she heals.In addition to the obvious fact that Katsuya can crush people.

Body Pathway Derangement- This technique would disable nearly anyone who does not have a lightening cloak. Kabuto was a prodigy and it took him some time to figure out how to move. Should she use this technique she could smash her opponent while they were unable to move or you know slit their throat.

Dexterity-Contrary to popular belief Tsunade is not slow. She's only ever been hit four times in combat from what we've seen.

Against Pein Jiraiya would not have known his secrets as hokage and still would've died. It was Jiraiya's death that pushed Naruto to learn Sage Mode. So if Jiraiya were hokage Naruto wouldn't have been strong enough to defeat Pein.
If Kakashi were hokage... he still would've died the same way but he would have listened to the advisers and kept Naruto in the village and when Pein attacked he would have been screwed. We've never really seen Kakashi disobey people who seemingly have authority over him as an adult.
I think we saw the damage done by Danzo's short reign as interim hokage. He managed to lose the trust of the the other great shinobi nations and the neutral samurai nation. He is the reason that sasuke attacked the summit. And in the chaos Tobi was able to declare the 4th ninja world war. And honestly what do you think he would've done with Naruto as hokage during Pein's invasion? Would he have let Naruto leave beforehand to train at mount Myoboku?

Who exactly told you most of the people were dead? Yes, Pein brought a lot of people back to life, but Konoha is a major village with many many people. Of course there will be a lot of deaths, but had she not used her summon who would have survived the Shinra Tensei besides her and her anbu guards? Naruto fought a weakened version on Pein. If you recall the Shinra Tensei that he used used a lot of chakra and shortened his life span. He didn't have enough energy at that point to safely use CT.

In addition restoring the bodies lost back to fighting condition. And the fights he engaged in and let's not forget that Naruto didn't really solo him. Naruto was trying not to use the Kyuubi but with his own prowess in battle (with prep time) he was beat, at which point the kyuubi saved his arse. Naruto did well in his fight but without the Kyuubi's help he would have died. Beyond that Tsunade did her duty as hokage. Rushing out to battle isn't necessarily the duty of a leader. We certainly don't see Presidents of the front line. Rather she used her power to protect the people of Konoha. When she thought everyone was safe she was going to charge into battle only to find that she needed to expend more chakra to protect the village. Even with no energy left she still went out to battle in a desperate attempt to save the village but after having done everything else in her power before attempting suicide in the name of Konoha.

I think Henrikxxx has gotten a little worked up over this post, ull have to get over the fact that people have different opinions. Anyway noone has ever actually seen her true power yet, the fight with Madara hasnt finished yet and who knows what she mite show after that...she might not show much more but being a senju, chances are she has got something big to show. we'll just have to wait and see. and btw nice effort TobisPawn at least you justified your argument fully, nice work.

According to Tsunade healing requires a lot of chakra but she had enough chakra to heal the hidden leaf twice and summon katsuyu (which as Jiraiya and Naruto showed us requires a bit of chakra for large summons). And in her fight against Madara she used CR to heal from heavenly transfer heal 3 kages back to 100 percent, attacked Madara and his clone, and regrew her stomach twice (Susanoo Sword and Yasaka Magatama). I think she can tank what ever A has to throw at her. She even tanked a Shinra Tensei from up close without healing herself.
Furthermore she's much smarter than A. And she has Katsuyu. She was also aware of Raikage's speed but he was unaware of the extent of her medical ninjutsu and she still challenged him to a fight.

Now may I ask who's strikes has Raikage tanked that are of Tsunade's caliber.

If A can connect his punches to Tsunade before she releases her healing ability, and avoid Tsunade's punches (which is very possible considering his speed), then I believe A can win.

A's attacks aren't diverse at all. But Yes what he can do is significantly less. He speed in CQC isn't saying too much. Especially not when she can attack at 360 degrees at once with her kick. The shockwaves created from her kick was strong enough to break buildings.

Yeah this isn't being taken easily by anyone. Let's say Tsunade punches the Raition armor. The armor would still have the force of her punches forced upon it and it would inevitably get to Raikage. The Same way Raikage chopped the Susanoo rib cage but the force made it to Sasuke and Sasuke started bleeding.
His speed is shunshin no jutsu we haven't seen Tsunade use a shunshin no jutsus but since know her attacks aren't slow. Neither Kabuto, Orochimaru, nor Shizune saw their blitzes coming but she blitzed all of them. In CQC that's what matters not neccesarily foot speed. And she's bounds smarter than A. Even when they were talking to Naruto she had inferred all the information where the Third Raikage needed it spelled out for him. Even if she normally couldn't touch A her shockwaves should slow him down long enough for her to get a punch in.
Let's not forget Tsunade has the body of the sage and the Uzumaki Longevity.
Tsunade wins this High difficulty.

The idea of Tsunade landing a hit on A is laughable, and even if she did, A's durability with raiton armour v2 is impenetrable by her strength, he freakn pawned heavenly transfer technique, the damage caused by that technique to a person>tsuande's super strength, Chidori PENETRATION> super strength. Irrelevent though as landing a hit is impossible for he reflexes.

A will chop of her head at the start of the battle with a horizontal chop (Like he did to the Horn of the eight tails and his own arm).

Also, tsunade cant affect A with that jutsu she used on kabuto to mess up his senses, just go to the data book and look at the mechanics of raiton armour, or read manga when C explains it, and then read what her jutsu does, you'll see why that jutsu is a joke against a raiton armour user.

BUT: We all know that Kishi would not allow A to win like that, he'll use plot no jutsu to make A not activate version two at the start of the battle so that Tsuande can weaken him and then he'll pull out a jutsu out of Tsuande's ass that will somehow pawn A. He's been doing it for the Konoha guys since the beginning, why top now.

Chakra reserves, unless we get a reading from a sensor ninja on how much Chakra Tsunade has mentioning A has bijuu level chakra is pointless. Tsunade is the one who has chakra level feats.

I think you meant Durability overall because your point only speaks to durability and if she was so seriously injured why was she able to attack madara but then calmly heal herself? Also we're not even comparing how they respond to blunt force.
If you wanted to compare Regeneration let's look at A's left arm and watch it grow back. Tsunade on the other hand has regenerated sliced flesh, cut muscles, entire vital organs, and her spine. When exactly did Kabuto blitz Tsunade. I suppose you can call that time he attacked her while she was in mid-air and therefore incapable of dodging a blitz. I was wondering with the horn would be brought up. The Horn would be made of the same things nails are. You're telling me that breaking a gigantic nail is impressive. But A's attacks last long enough for people to comment on them or for him to get some dialogue in. So no it CQC against another Taijutsu expert, Shunshin will not be the deciding factor.

Gathering of Snakes isn't useful because of the nature of Tsunade's attacks in combination with Orochimaru's soft physique technique. So she won't cut his body.
Hidden Shadow snake hands would work against Orochimaru if he tries to grab Tsunade with it as there'd only be a repeat like when he tried to grab her with his tongue. If he tries to poison her, her liver will regenerate and render the poison moot. Or she could use the antidote she has in her tools, which she'd probably have anyway because she worked with Oro for so long.

Sword of Kusanagi: Longsword of the Sky- Tsunade needs only grab the sword. As long as it doesn't decapitate her she'll survive if she can regrow vital organs in her abdomen then she should be able to regrow limbs and digits.
Temporary Paralysis Technique- Iirc Genin Sasuke and Sakura overcame this technique.
Wind Release: Great Breakthrough -If Tsunade is using her chakra to stay on the ground like she did when Pein attacked the village (she was using it to counter shinra tensei) then I see her receiving injuries similar to the heavenly transfer technique which she'd heal.
Eight Branches is nothing but very large taijutsu taijutsu. Tsunade would only need to punch the heads as they attack and the damage recieved with byakougou.
Then there is Manda and Katsuya. Katsuya would prove useful against the 8 branches technique. Manda also had no jutsus he could bite and coil. For that reason he'd be defeated as well.
Body Pathway Derangement could be countered by perhaps a raiton cloak which Oro does not have and his taijutsu and stamina is less than Tsunade's so he could get caught by that.

Edit: The edos might cause a problem but we know Tsunade has a form of fuinjutsu as per her seal on her forehead. Apparently she's good enough at fuinjutsu to have to different techniques in one fuinjutsu. And Body Pathway Derangement would pose problems for Edos too. Given the fact that she is the oldest living Uzumaki we know with actual connections to members of her clan she probably has other sealing jutsus.
But the edos do pose an interesting problem. Though she may be able to remove the talisman Oro used to control them when blow to their heads. At which point they'd help her. and Oro would lose

Tsunade can't beat Jiraiya even in base mode. He has far too many jutsus for which she has no counter.

Also I don't like using databook stats unless it is determining speed (if they are different numbers), as the databook is essentially meaningless. Tsunade has a 5 in ninjutsu but has only been shown to use the summoning jutsu, and her medical jutsu. She has not done any other sort of jutsu at all, so how does she deserve a 5 in ninjutsu when Orochimaru knows more jutsus than any other character (with the exception of current Kabuto)

And I don't think Tsunade's strength is enough to outright kill either of the Sannin in one punch. It took a dozen punches just for Orochimaru's real face to show through in their fight.

Jiraiya has already proved to be very resilient and very skilled at sealing jutsus, not to mention his trap jutsus like the toad gourd prison, his barrier, etc.

As for A that is debatable as it would be very hard for Tsunade to hit A. Just hitting the ground isn't enough to stop someone of his speed. He was faster than Amaterasu at point blank range, I'm sure he can dodge Tsunade's punches.

Even when they were talking to Naruto she had inferred all the information where the Third Raikage needed it spelled out for him. Even if she normally couldn't touch A her shockwaves should slow him down long enough for her to get a punch in.

Body Shedding- Actually this is very useful. Orochimaru's body was healthy when Tsunade punched him before but he could not shed his skin because of his arms. So he had to quit the fight. Now he can afford being hit by Tsunade but apparently this jutsu takes a lot of chakra.

Five Elements Seal- Would require she had an even numbered seal on to be effective.

Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes- Problematic however this technique can be cancelled out by heavenly foot of Pain if acted upon immediately.

Gathering of Snakes isn't useful because of the nature of Tsunade's attacks in combination with Orochimaru's soft physique technique. So she won't cut his body.

Hidden Shadow snake hands would work against Orochimaru if he tries to grab Tsunade with it as there'd only be a repeat like when he tried to grab her with his tongue. If he tries to poison her, her liver will regenerate and render the poison moot. Or she could use the antidote she has in her tools, which she'd probably have anyway because she worked with Oro for so long.

Living Corpse Reincarnation: He's not going to use this in the heat of battle but if he does Tsunade has the mental fortitude to attack while impaled, to attack with stomach and respiratory muscles cut, and to overcome a phobia in addition to her precise chakra control I see her breaking free. The obvious counter to this argument is Orochimaru has a 5 in genjutsu and she only has a 3. This is true but she also has better chakra control. It was stated that healing jutus require a lot of chakra and she managed to heal a whole village, while keeping up her transformation technique, and she had summoned Katsuyu which as we've seen with Jiraiya and Naruto large summons take considerable chakra. In the war she has healed her stomach twice (Susanoo Sword and 3 Yasaka Magatamas) and used creation rebirth to heal the wounds from the heavenly transfer technique, in addition to healing the other kages, and breaking through Susanoo and Madara's mokuton clone. Additionally it was also stated that Medical jutsu requires precise chakra control because if the chakra is not controlled effectively the patient can be killed or the justu is ineffective and Tsunade is hailed as the greatest living medic.

Summoning Gate and Triple Summoning Gate Rashomon: Kiba and Akamaru put a dent in the single gate in Part I. Tsunade breaks through it.

Sword of Kusanagi: Longsword of the Sky- Tsunade needs only grab the sword. As long as it doesn't decapitate her she'll survive if she can regrow vital organs in her abdomen then she should be able to regrow limbs and digits.

Temporary Paralysis Technique- Iirc Genin Sasuke and Sakura overcame this technique.

Wind Release: Great Breakthrough -If Tsunade is using her chakra to stay on the ground like she did when Pein attacked the village (she was using it to counter shinra tensei) then I see her receiving injuries similar to the heavenly transfer technique which she'd heal.

Eight Branches is nothing but very large taijutsu taijutsu. Tsunade would only need to punch the heads as they attack and the damage recieved with byakougou.

Then there is Manda and Katsuya. Katsuya would prove useful against the 8 branches technique. Manda also had no jutsus he could bite and coil. For that reason he'd be defeated as well.

Body Pathway Derangement could be countered by perhaps a raiton cloak which Oro does not have and his taijutsu and stamina is less than Tsunade's so he could get caught by that.

she wouldn't be able to compare their strength unless they're styles were similar. If Orochimaru got caught in a similar way to Tsunade then he would eventually need to shed his body.

Against her strength he would need to shed his body.

Against Katsuya's acid he would have to shed.

My conclusion Tsunade would win
Edit: The edos might cause a problem but we know Tsunade has a form of fuinjutsu as per her seal on her forehead. Apparently she's good enough at fuinjutsu to have to different techniques in one fuinjutsu. And Body Pathway Derangement would pose problems for Edos too. Given the fact that she is the oldest living Uzumaki we know with actual connections to members of her clan she probably has other sealing jutsus.
But the edos do pose an interesting problem. Though she may be able to remove the talisman Oro used to control them when blow to their heads. At which point they'd help her. and Oro would lose

Tsunade could seemingly beat base Jiraiya. Why would she allow him time to get into SM if she's primarily a close ranged fighter. In Sage Mode he could beat her, but without he loses. Byakougou seems to take less time to activate than SM.

As for A that is debatable as it would be very hard for Tsunade to hit A. Just hitting the ground isn't enough to stop someone of his speed. He was faster than Amaterasu at point blank range, I'm sure he can dodge Tsunade's punches.

Against Orochimaru: he only took one punch, not dozens before he quit. You can go back an reread but the anime trolled Tsunade there. And in my portion about the raikage I've already stated why Oro was able to syrvive that. The ability revolving around his soft physique technique which Jiraiya doesn't have. Whether Tsunade deserves a 5 in ninjutsu remains to be seen.

Jiraiya's base Katon's can be tanked and whether or not the swamp can sink her is debatable. But for his combo attacks I see no reason Tsunade could kill his summons other than Ma and Pa.

Im not going to post a HUGE WALL OF TEXT like the other dude, im just going to say the reason why she is underrated.

The main reason why everyone (including myself) say she is crap its not because of her personal achievements or physical prowess but instead comparing her to the past Hokages and even the current shinobies.

You seriously CANNOT COMPARE HER to any of the past Hokages, to absolutely no one. And this is suppose to be the new generation with jutsus improved and such.

Hashirama> Tsunade
Tobirama> Tsunade
Sarutobi> Tsunade
Minato> Tsunade

And taking into consideration that the 1rst option of Konoha to be the 5th Hokage was JIRAIYA AND NOT TSUNADE, just worsens the deal. Oh heck even Kakashi could kill Tsunade and hes not even close to the level of any Akatsuki or the past hokages. The same can be said with Naruto.

I feel she is underrated because we havent seen much of her abilities. Sure she can heal instantly and her monsterous strength but she has to have another specialty

Oro: edo tensei, Rebirht thingy. Snake form, master of jutsus

each of the sannin so far have had weird jutsus and unparallel powers.

Also i dont know the relevance here but look at Gai, he can still use ninjutsu (summoning the turtle ) but he prefers taijutsu thus showing we havent seen all that Gai is capable of

So unless Kishi is seriously trolling us and Tsunade is really just a Vanilla beater with no specialties than i expect we will see her use more jutsu

She is underrated because shes useless she doesn't do any thing in part one she was shown as a talented medical ninja with unbelievable strength which turned people onto her but after that what does she do nothing in the pain invasion arch she swore on the title of hokage she would protect the village and what happened it got destroyed blood prison whether it was canon or not she jutst stood there and another thing is her power is continuosly being surpassed by naruto and sasuke to the point where her punches isn't even such a big deal anymore people are getting hyped because she punched madara imo madara is not taking her or this fight seriously he destroyed his body with an astroid do you you think he cares if tsunade punches him tsunade just isn't a big deal anymore imo
