[Question] Why is this in the emoticons

I got an infraction for using it. Why is it usable then? If people cannot use it, then why have it!

Can you post what you posted like the whole thing and if that's all you responded with, Emocon than I think the mod is at the right since it says clearly in the rules that if you reply with just a emocon that will be considered spamming I think

Somehow I find that really hard to believe that you were infracted for using just that emoticon- unless that was the only thing you posted. Emoticon/meme replies are seen as spam and if you post just that it may be infracted.

If that was not the case and rest of your post was not breaking any forum rules and you believe some kind of error was made while issuing it - you should contact the staff back for an explanation or review. We try to do our best but on some quite rare occasions, mistakes can happen and a wrong post may be accidentally clicked for it. But it's fixed back if it is brought to out notice.

Send me the Infraction pm you received and I will take a look.

Well when you posted that Emoticon did you say anything else or was that the only thing in your post? If that was the only thing you posted then it is basically considered as spam, as one word posts are against the rules and just posting emoticons fall under that rule.

PS: Making threads about your infractions is also against rules. Please keep that in mind. You can always contact the mod back to resolve these matter in case of errors or contact a G-mod(senior mods) or administrator if you have a problem with a mod decision.
