Why is the Uchiha considered a royal clan while the senju is not?

probably during Hashirama's reign and Tobirama's. but I doubt it, since the power was turned away from the Senju clan, until Tsunade came in.

I imagine even in the current time the Senju still command respect,the problem is it's members have married into the other clans so there probaly aren't many that carry the Senju blood.

Tsunade,Naruto,Kushina,Nagato,and Karin are the only characters that carry some of the Senju in them and two out of those characters are dead.

Yeah,almost everyone in Konoha is related to the Senju if we look at the fact that were probaly close relatives that had kids with each other.

The Akamichi, Aburame, Hyuuga and Uchiha are NOT ROYAL CLANS.. They are known as NOBLE CLANS.. There is a big difference between being royal and being noble.. royals tend to RULE over a land, while nobles only holds exalted ranks compare to others while some holds fiefdoms under the sovereign's name.. The Senjus are the closest Konoha has of a royal family.. perhaps that is why Tsunade is referred to as "Princess" Tsunade while Hinata is just "Lady" Hinata.. as as why in the real world, Princess Anne is different from Lady Diana..

As I recall in the flashbacks the Senju clan dispersed itself amongst the people to form a true Konoha. So I'd imagine that's why, because they ceased to be a clan, and instead became the village's foundation.

Well the flashbacks clearly showed that as a collective the Senju were stronger than the Uchiha...hence the part where it was stated after this battle it was clear the Senju were superior.
