Why is the popular thread section messed up?

They were both posted by Ira. Read the titles and you'll see why they are there.

Probably because they're sorted by the amount of views they get. Not the amount of posts. It just so happens that the amount of posts helps with the viewcount, but there are exceptions.

I don't see the connection between Ira posting a thread and that consequently randomly hitting the hottest thread list. What are you even implying with that? :|

Look at the "To Kumo" thread. It has 6,496 views. Now look at the thread right above it, Ira's thread. It has 9,661 views. Now look at the thread above that, Versuvio's thread. It has 10,524 views. Now look at the thread above that, Ira's other thread. It has 15,153 views. And the hottest thread, above Ira's, has 64,208 views. See the connection there? It has jack sh*t to do with who's posting it; it's sorted by viewcounts.

It happens every week. It was placed there for anyone who wants to have spoiler discussion about 620 (hot topic) can do so in those threads. instead of posting spoilers in the Naruto Discussion/Anime/Manga section spoiling the manga for everyone who hasn't read it yet. Don't forget Ira has the power to do so.
