Why is Sasuke's rinnegan different from Hagoromo's ?

I was wondering ,that Sasuke's rinnegan has the red colour and the tomoes while the rinnegan of Hogoromo(purple minus the tomoes) has none(like Madara's)..Sasuke got his powers from Hagoromo ,then why is his rinnegan different than him ?
