i think that scene is the one when hashi has it pinned down with his gate. the diamond shape is the flower.

or the star represent uchiha (eye) sasukes role and the gate represents narutos (body, senju)

I feel as if the six Tomoe are meant to represent a stage of the juubi's eyes. It's like a process, since the eyes have been diluted over time then the evolutionary process proceeded as sharnningan then mangekyou sharnningan then eterna mangekyou sharnningan then the circle rinnegan (no Tomoe) then the six Tomoe rinnegan then the 9 Tomoe rinnegan which is actually something completely different entirely. So sasuke's rinnegan may be the highest evolution of the rinnegan before it becomes a 9 Tomoe rinnegan. I believe that the rinnegans with Tomoe you can only have one of them. If you could have more than one that's a tad impossible one and two thatd be ludicrous to have. The power creep would be insane but also you'd have a TON of chakra drained from you just to maintain those eyes. You can only really have one Tomoe rinnegan in this case.
