Why is sasuke getting praised so much just for one little power up

Yes Sasuke cut Madara in half but only because
1. Madara was too preoccupied with getting the sharingan so he could go to obito.
2. Naruto kept limbo Madara busy. Madara could've switched himself w/ the limbo maddy ( like he did before) but, once again, he wasn't worried about sasuke but more concerned with getting his left eye.
It's safe to say had Madara been actually engaging sasuke he would've dodge his attack or countered in someway.

Yes of course madara could have countered if he was engaged, just like how madara got impaled by sasuke's sword. Truth is madara doesn't want to engage against sasuke coz he saw through his technique so he executed a tactical retreat.

Sasuke doesn't need the CS to win most battles. Naruto needs the Kyubi in almost about 95% of his fights.
