Yes because the Woman didn't do anything. Even if she slapped the criminal, she'd be innocnet. <<<< Thats according tot he definitoin of innocent.

If its under the definition of innocent.. then it is innocent.
Here's another typical example of the not so innocent:

A robber robbing a bank and guy pointing hostages.

Old lady number 1: don't kill me, I didn't do anything

Robber: shut up and don't try anything funny and you may live!!

Suddenly a middle aged man play hero trying something funny by wrestling with the robber, but lost the wrestling match

Middle aged man: Mr robber, please don't kill me!! I'm innocent

Robber: you idiot just jumped on me!! Now die!!

The guy is still innocent...seriously, you know you're argument is flawed when the only way for it to make sense is to see it from the perspective of a flat out criminal.

Umm What? please loook up what Innocent means, Innocent relates to several things-

1.free from moral wrong; without sin; pure:innocent children.

2.free from legal or specific wrong; guiltless:innocent of the crime.

3.not involving evil intent or motive:an innocent misrepresentation.

4.not causing physical or moral injury; harmless:innocent fun.

5.devoid (usually followed by of):a law innocent of merit.

6.having or showing the simplicity or naiveté of an unworldly person; guileless; ingenuous.

7.uninformed or unaware; ignorant.

Lets not act like Innocent has one mean just because it can suit our needs the innocent you're referring to is 6.

When I say apple pie, I mean what we always refer to as "apple pie", not apple + pie

You guys are arguing the bad guy kill the person who is innocent in the robber's own perspective

Even anyone with authority(police) would tell you do not play hero and corporate

Only the crook would see the middle aged guy as guilty, the court system, the witnesses, the old lady, etc. would find him innocent.

If another human ended up getting shot because of that middle aged man's action, he would no longer be consider "innocent" in the eye of the law. So many perspectives to use, but people refuse to acknowledge that unless it for gain.

Why should I give a damn about the perspective of the criminal? In the random school shooter, everyone is evil, does that mean he's right?

That's just like a dictator who think he's always right and don't need to think about whoever he consider wrong/evil
So the court system's opinion/law goes out the window for the crook's belief?

Lel what would the court charge this middle aged man of? Robbery.

The law would consider and discuss all aspect than to assume the criminal is criminal like what people doing here by avoiding to even think for the "criminal"

Trying to play hero tends to bring more trouble into the situation and people end getting hurt because of that. According to a lot of law and order episodes over the years, some of those innocent people ended up getting charge with something small for trying to take matter into their own hands.

Care to elaborate on these cases. Already those people who "took matters into their own hands" are no longer innocent, since most likely they are committing a crime.
