Why is obito trying to turn naruto?

So I really wanna hear everybody's idea on why obito is trying to turn naruto to his side is it 1. It would make everybody else lose hope 2. It would be easier for him to take over the wold 3. Because as he said every one kinda looks up to him now 4. He has almost the same ambition as obito used to have and obito hates that naruto is a better person? There are alot more reasons why and I would love to hear your opinions

Naruto is the spitting image of obito, and obito noticed this during the war. Obito was betrayed by the ninja system and the ninja system created his alter self that he called tobi. Obito is trying, in his perspective, to save naruto from going through what he went through to finally understand this world.

p.s. if no one noticed yet obito is just like gaara and nagato in the since that the ninja system is what turned them to the darkside. Also just like nagato obito will do some last minute good act to redeem is soul and atone for what he has done.

Obito has already noted to see himself in Naruto. So seeing Naruto keep going is placing obvious doubt in his head. By changing Naruto it would justify his actions to himself.

Also...by converting Naruto that is one less fight, and it will easily cripple the resolve of the alliance.

so he wants naruto to turn in a sense and be his apprentis/ and so he doesnt feel like hes doing wrong. because what it seems like is that he doesnt really care for anybody else not even rin as it would seem as naruto and his intrest in him is almost like naruto is something he never will be.

ya! but it just seems like there is more interest that obito has for naruto like there is something more there kinda like what went on with itachi. or maybe i am just going crazy from this long wait for the next episode lol.

Ya that's so true! That would be crazy if they would have switched roles. Do you think naruto and sasuka would have still been fighting. Do you think the war would be here? And do you think naruto/hinata would happend, and do you think that naruto would have learned to controller the juubi like this?
