thats only if kuruma was still draining his chakra kuruma and him are on good terms

He used it when he got hit by amaterasu and he used it against konan.

The problem is that only HIS eye can use kamui. If he discarded it, he wouldn't be able to use that anymore. This is problematic because his other eye was the rinnegan, and he couldn't discard that either.

Would switching his other eye give him EMS somehow? If so, then he could switch out the fodder Sharingan for the Rinnegan and have EMS.
