[Discussion] Why is noone suprised that orochimaru is alive???

I guess because after seeing what happened with Sasuke, remembering Anko had the same thing made it plausible....on top of that and his crazy forbidden jutsu....it just wasn't that shocking. Honestly for me it was slightly dissapointing.

He was the power driven Sannin, and the first to go showing that the search and hunger for power will lead to your demise....then he came back and that symbolism was tossed out the window :|...now Tsunade is almost dead/dying and Jiraiya's dead. At this point it seems that being sadistic and heartless pays off....though the only exception to that statement is Kakuzu...because he gets the best of both worlds (power and hearts).

Well if you think about it Itachi simply sealed him away...did not kill him. So I guess it's not that surprising c:

Llab do u knw what sealing means??? Everyone who has been sealed has had there soul removed in which case u die oro was killed by itachi because He had his souls removed, oro is still alive because oro had part of himself sealed with his curse marks and Kabuto obviously stole oro's mojo too so that's why

Orochimaru will die again. And when the konohamaru series kicks up there will be a filler where the Totsuka blade is shattered and Orochimaru returns for three episodes until the gang stops the white snake once and for all...

I'm pretty sure OP meant why is no one in the MANGA surprised.

If so, probably because no one knew he died. I mean, no one on the battlefield. Only Taka, Itachi, Zetsu and Obito really knew he died, I'm pretty sure.
