Why is Naruto not in the top 10 anime?

Because it's no longer new and fresh, like Pokemon, DBZ, etc. You can only remain popular for so long before you wear out your welcome. I think Naruto's popularity started to decline when the Akatsuki were finished.

Kishi really should have kept a good number of them around for this war and not as edos to be trounced on so easily. Nagato should have died around now as well as Kisame, Konan and maybe even Kakuzu. This would have helped round out some of K11s story.

Itachi and Sasuke should have probably had their fight around the 1st half of the war. And Sasuke VS Oro should have went down after the defeat of Kabuto. But these are just my opinions.

He probably should have learned to write better female characters too, but I digress.
