It's a great anime, but it's only got two seasons, it hasn't gotten enough spread. Shit hasn't got real yet (the end of season 1 was close, but let's be honest, the League of Villains started off ****ed).

Manga is of course great, there's been several shit-hitting-the-fan moments, and we're smack dab in the middle of one about to happen again. I am a little surprised that it hasn't gotten a jump in popularity since the only Big Three still alive is One Piece, while Fairy Tail is plummeting, what other Shounin is competing with MHA besides One Punch Man and Attack on Titan?

Because heroes one-punch man came out first. The only real notable things that caught my attention in the hero community id hoe All Might used his strength, that's really it.

I don't think that BnHA is underrated.
It's ranked 8.4?? on myanimelist.net which I'd say is pretty good. There was so much hype for the 2nd season; I mean, as soon as 1st episode aired on kissanime it occupied 2/3 place of popular ongoing series. I don't read manga but I see that it's 4th most popular manga on mangafox. Considering everything I wouldn't expect these numbers.
