Why is madara so confident?

Look....I know he has unlimited chakra,undying body and all but if the juubei lives up to hype(like everyone suspects it would)than wouldn't seem like madara is just setting himself for failure? Just ask yourselves the question can what madara has displayed so far actually even be enough to put that monster down for a 10 count let along tame it? Me personally i believe that madara doesn't really know what he's getting ass into.

Kishi shows him as being so confident because then it is alot more entertaining to see when he gets defeated. It will most likely be something totally unexpected and silly that will stop him. The more confident a character, the bigger the effect when they fall.

Madara is one of the strongest ninja in the whole Naruto universe. His power is legendary and has no limits (for now)

He is way more powerful now after Hashirama defeated him. He awakened the Rinnegan shortly after his death, he has Hashirama's DNA in him so he can now use Hashirama's techniques and he is an edo which means unlimited chakra and undying body. This explains why he is confident and we are not seeing yet his serious mode he is just messing around.
