why is Madara blind??

Madara only gave one eye to Nagato, not both. what happened to the other eye? we saw him being revived but now blind?? he said on the current chapter that he could take sasuke's eyes while awaiting his rinnegan... what does that mean? is he about to awake them again once he opens his eyes???

really dude? both eyes? didn't you see the old Madara still having and using his sharigan on Obito!!!? plus if what you're sayin is right, how would you explain the fact that Nagato and Obito managed to share those eyes to more than one person??

When madara was in edo tensei state, he possessed the rinnegan because his soul was brought from the dead and does not have his real body. When he came back alive, there is already a pair of rinnegan existing that is one eye with obito and the other is somewhere else. Madara was planning on taking obito's rinnegan.

i believe that he lost his EMS but not the rinnegan... i think its on a cool down

He then died with 1 eye in his socket.
OBito proceeded to take that 1 eye and leave him with 2 holes in his head.
Kabuto couldn't revive him with original eyes because kabuto doesn't have a stock of sharingan... or eyes for that matter
kabuto revived him the best he could and mac guyvered a compatible eye into his head.
He got revived and everything that was complete ET was undone as was the ET jutsu. His eyes were apparently one of the things undone.
He's now left with 2 holes in his head.

It's pretty inconsisten though. He actually should be an old man, but was revived in the state he was in as an edo. There's no real reason (well, apart from plot ideas by Kishi) why the Rinnegan wouldn't stay too.
