It's because of AoT's target audience demographic, also people's obsession with quiet killing machine psychopaths (never understood this myself) but Levi's a pretty cool character, probably my third-fourth favourite after Eren, Hanji & Annie.

Not really , Levi doesn't have emotion :/ I just didn't like him in the beginning + but like I said he has been growing on me , out of the older characters I'm a huge fan of Erwin , Hanji & Pixies .

I like his character because he is a straightforward guy and is pretty badass.Some people like him because of his battle capabilities & another reason for him being one of the most famous is the fact that he is the strongest human.
