We all have different perceptions of cool, and he just fits the majority. I, too, find L really cool like I do for a lot of Death Note characters.


My favorite and the coolest to me is Ryuk. Just a laid back funny viewer who hangs around the main character giving him the rules and laughing/enjoying the story.
