Every other Akatsuki member died with their robe off. Why not Konan? Y U NO TAKE OFF ROBE!?

"Akatsuki" actually meant something to her as well as Yahiko and Nagato while everybody else were just simply recruits who needed a place to stay and things to do.

Akatsuki carried Yahiko and Nagato's dreams, and Konan supported them. Actually, all three of them (Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato) died with their robes on. Yahiko and Nagato were laid to rest in their robes.
