Why is kishi?

and why did he die isn't he supposed to be a god, and gods are imortal and don't age

he was compared to a god i believe not actually was one ... and possiibly because his face would reveal a lot to do with naruto or something ... or it could just be because he was considered a myth so kishi wants to keep that sence of mystery

The sage of the six paths is supposed to be a legend of the ninja world. He was the one who created all ninjutsu and is therefore described as the god of the ninja world. Nonetheless, he was a human with two sons: one became Uchiha and one Senju. Anyways, the fact that the face of rikudou Sennin is hidden means that either, he is supposed to be a faceless mystery to the fanbase and the world of ninja because gods face is also unknown to anybody, or it will be revealed close to the end of the series (which I doubt). The similarities between Naruto's Kyuubi Chakra Mode and the silhouette of the sage of the six paths is striking though.

actually the sage will be shown by the ends since kishi has revealed a bit of how he looks and if kishi wasn't gonna show the sages face then what would the point of him showing that little bit
