Why is Kishi sexist?

My friend, Kishimoto has admitted it before (and yet this is my 15th time I will explain it to someone I've been counting) he does not know how to properly develop female characters. The only method of development he best knows is the damsel in distress situation. Plus, this is the shonen genre, where the female character is sh**ed upon over and over again. Kishimoto even needed help developing Kushina, Naruto's mother. He had to console his wife to create the character (this is why she is portrayed as a motherly character, obviously.)

OP, you are absolutely right. Kishi is certainly sexist in the way he portray women as weak b*tches who are obssessed with guys. I mean, just look at this scan. This scan says all about women:

If it's so sexist that it disgusts you why don't you stop reading it?

Does it matter? We're men

Tsunade is strong
Mizukage is strong
Ten Ten is strong
Sakura is just useless in the current situation but Kishi is trying to give her props.
Tf you mean?

You should be a feminist

I'm not trying to be feminist with this. It was just something I noticed. I'm not that much of an anime or manga person, so I guess its just an outsider view of a normal thing in the genre, since a lot of people in this thread seemingly see it as normal.

If he was sexist he would have deliberately made each female character weak, or have no role.

He just isn't good at characterizing females, something he said himself. He's given women-or at least tried to give them- an important role, as seen with Tsunade, Sakura, and Kaguya.

Ino was pretty awesome during the War Arc. Despite not being the fighting type.
