Why is Jhonny Depp Grindlewald???

Collin Farrel was awesome!!! He had a cool voice as well.
And that last part when he nearly killed everybody was my favorite scene out of the whole movie!

Why didnt they keep Collin Farrel?

I kinda liked him being Grindlewald.
Lets see what'll happen in the future movies

That doesn't really make much sense. Grindelwald is a notorious wanted mage, hence he disguised himself as Parcivel Graves. So if Depp and Farrel would have switched roles, you would have seen Depp acting throughout the movie while only all the way at the end Farrel would have made an appearance, ergo you couldn't possibly say he was awesome as he barely did anything.
