But more on to tobi, tobi hasnt shown at least any rinnegan tec that has change my opinion on itachi vs tobi. Those chain things and other things he's show with rinnegan aint got shit on itachi. Not to mention did everyone forget that as soon as itachi died tobi's exact words were "the leaf is no longer off limits" and he also told sasuke if itachi knew the things that tobi knew tobi would be dead? Obviously tobi knows something that we dont. But, thats not why i think itachi>tobi. Tobi is a dam child compared to itachi, itachi mastered his sharingan at about the age that obito got his sharingan, itachi ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu and brains in battle have all been praised in the highest respect in one or more parts of the manga directly or indirectly, and tobi has a low chance or appearing behind itachi and just warping him away, in taijutsu tobi will most likely have the upper hand only because he can make shit go through him(but then we dont know how such a tec would play out against a master sharingan user and someone who knows that tec, seeing how tobi still has to materailize to attack), i doubt he'll beat itachi in fire style and even if he can,amterasu smashes tobi's firestyle, suasnoo ribs can block anything tobi can throw at him. Obito's only real advantage is he can make things go through him...

These Itachi fanboys are hilarious. Itachi is probably the most overrated character I've had the displeasure of discussing in my life.That being said. Itachi would beat Danzo no question. But Tobi would destroy Itachi. Itachi has NO WAY OF TOUCHING TOBI. Tobi does not need bijju or gedo mazu to deal with Itachi. EMS sasuke would just outlast Itachi in a sharigan battle. Also Sasuke is in Itachi's league when it comes to battle smarts, though Itachi is a little bit smarter I admit.

It should be obvious. I'd like to see Itachi counter his space time jutsu when it took Naruto's team combined with Kakashi's kaumi to counter it or are you suggesting Itachi's more capable than those four? There's only a select few who can stop Obito's space time and Itachi isn't one of them.

• Minato has a space time ninjutsu Itachi doesn't, also that was 16 years ago Obito has improved a lot since then. Itachi not being able to counter Obito's kaumi is my conclusion based on manga facts.
  
• Itachi having more of an understanding is a joke, Obito is well informed about all ms abliities we've seen as well as Uchiha jutsu's like Izanagi on top of rinnengan and the sage.
  
• Going by feats Naruto is superior in terms of battle smarts. It also doesn't matter what knowledge Itachi has as it wont help him from getting warped by Obito.

Don't put word in your mouth? I literally quoted what you said. You stated you could understand why people would think Obito > Itachi but you actually what on to argue that Tobi cannot defeat him, even outlining ways of Itachi one-shotting Gedo Mazo. It doesn't mean you agreed with the people who possessed that view.

Itachi is clearly underrated on the base. I agree that is inferior to Nagato and it's debatable whether he can beat Minato, but he's more underrated than underrated, that's a fact. Other characters have their fanboys, too, for example those who think that Nagato is soloing Edo Madara.
