Why is it that every time a fan loves a powerful character it is bandwagoning?

The ''bandwagoners'' are not true fans, they see a strong character that suddely becomes their favourite, but when that character gets defeated, they become fans of the character that defeated theire previous favourite, in this case, it's Madara, when he becamse revived and started to fk everyone up, everyone were suddenly his fans, but when BZ betrayed him, all those ''bandwagoners'' suddely didn't like Madara and became fans of Kaguya instead.

With Kaguya they are banwagoning , nothing but fake .

They don't know her character , story/background , personality , why the Genjutsu ? Etc , I can go all day with is , you can wank whatever you want , but it still shallow to like someone because of hype & power.

We actually do know some key facts about Kaguya that already make her likable. Think about it: We know that she was able to have her plans continued and even have a loyal minion placed centuries into the future! You can not honestly deny that this is good planning. I like villains that are good strategists and masterminds like this! The power is just the icing on the cake! Even for villains that aren't physically strong, but are good strategists like Plankton in the spongebob movie, those are still epic villains.

Because you only like that character mostly for his or her powers...you answered your own question in the title itself.
Its also annoying as well.

Well this is a Shounen power-based manga! Of course if you are reading this manga, you came to this manga at least in part for the action! Calling power lovers shallow is like calling people who go to movie theaters to see Marvel movies shallow just for liking action! I guess by your logic, wrestling, boxing or MMA fans are shallow and annoying too.

There is a such thing as a purpose. If I wanted to watch weaklings I would watch blues clues!

why do you like kaguya?

Multitude of reasons:

1. She is an epic strategist! To be able to plan out a way for your plans to continue for centuries is to have the mark of an epic villain!

2. She is immensely powerful (even stronger than Hagoromo)!

3. I like that she casted infinite tsukuyomi! Humans can not properly handle free will and coexistence at the same time! Giving everybody their own world is a fair way for everybody to be truly equal in this world. That is true peace! Even if Kaguya didn't give everyone free will, but simply controlled them, then that would eliminate conflicting opinions in the world and as a result eliminate conflict in general! Kaguya's ideology is great!

Its mostly due to a few reasons.

1. They have not seen said individual praising the character until the action of, "Being OP," is displayed.

EX: I've always liked the Second Hokage, but seeing as he's only really in one moment in part I... not much to talk about. The War gave him more discussion outlets. However, it suddenly appears as if I am a Tobirama fan.

2. Anti-*Insert Character*

EX: An individual becomes a Hinata fan... just so they can bash Sakura, and feel they are in the, "In Crowd." Of course, this could be done for any character. Sakure > Hinata, Ino > Temari... etc. The basis is, you've joined/supported a character because it is commonly seen that this particular character, and the one you dislike commonly have opposing fan bases.

3. Bandwagoning

EX: Word for word. Bandwagoning is actually a pretty logical reaction. When a character is introduced, if you like that character, you've joined the wagon of their fan base. If a character starts taking actions you like.... naturally you are more inclined to show more support to a character.


Bandwagoning is usually held in a negative connotation, but does not always have to be. But the above are the generic reasons for being called a, "Bandwagoneer."
