you guys are really discussing for no reason ... isn't Naruto the prime character ? if hes the prime character he most have something special ... it could have been sasuke or i don't know ... but in this anime the prime character is Naruto ... he most got something special and this something special is the power to believe and the power of Kurama ... as Naruto got something special one of the main character such as Sasuke got something special too ... and that is the Sharingan ... complaining about what they got and why they don't it's useless ... beside in Naruto all the strong character got something special ... like Madara and Obito ... they got sharingan too ... and that makes them special too

Yeah, Sasuke is really a fodder without the Sharingan.

Itachi's techniques without the use of Sharingan are:

Karuu Endan - Fire Dragon Flame Projectile
Gouryukua No Jutsu - Great Dragon Fire Technique
Housenka No Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique
Mizu Bunshin No Jutsu - Water Clone Jutsu (similar to Shadow clones)
Bunshin Daibakuha - Exploding Shadow Clone
Karasu Bunshin No Jutsu Crow Clone Technique
Sword of Totsuka
Plus a number of Water Release Jutsus

Itachi was also a genius with the weapons he wielded. Pinpoint accuracy with Shuriken. He could also fuse Shurikens with fire.

So add these WITH the use of his Mangekyou Sharingan Techniques (Tsukyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami, Izanagi, Susanoo, etc) and you can start to understand why Itachi is such a BOSS.

And lets not forget Sasuke can not use the Chidori efficiently without use of the Sharingan, otherwise he would have no control over it. And also, as mentioned before Sasuke cannot use Kirin without the flame of Amaterasu.

he wasn't fully blind smart one he had a haze in his eyes kinda like a near sited kid. he cant focus.
its a crime because its a weapon of the leaf village, somewhat like naruto since he's the host.
plus it's not so much a crime as he went rouge, think of this in our time with our military. a soldier tries to leave before his time is up he is thrown in the brig. now sasuke would be killed and body destroyed so no one could have his eyes or learn from his body secrets of the leaf.

That's my point. Every character in this series was born with certain advantages in fighting, some more than others, just like the real world. If everyone was depowered and didn't have unique talents and abilities, everyone would be like the Ramen guy and we'd have no show.

Shisui
Obito
Sasuke
