Why is it really that Sakura is such a disliked character?

So Sai/Kakashis claim that she wanted to kill Sasuke herself because of her feelings for him was false but Sais claim that she wanted to relieve Naruto of his burden was correct?

Well yeah, she didnt want Naruto to get hurt anymore, and I guess her feelings for Sasuke were gone.

sakura does not solo sasori as
You must be registered for see images
says she lacks the speed finesse and poise. if she had them then yes she could solo sasori

How does she beat his puppet army?

Aaah, so once you say that who is Sai to have an opinion and be trusted with what he says and now you're taking his words for good?
Interesting...

She still loves him after the fact, so it doesn't matter.

Have you actually read the next few pages on that very same chapter? Could you please explain the meaning of page 8 in light of this interpretation? Thanks

she wants to save him yes.

But the fact that she is doing it this way is because she is "only" thinking of Naruto.

stop arguing with Kishimoto :)

Maybe her feelings weren't completely gone. But I do think shes doing it mostly because of Naruto. She's closer to Naruto than she ever was with Sasuke. So I honestly think she cares more for Naruto.

Err that sounds pretty wack to me, if she was thinking of Narutos feelings for Sasuke (and not Narutos burden alone), she would have respected his of all peoples right to know the truth.

Wow.. interesting discussion on a controversial character... the original post outlines Sakura's negatives fairly well but there's alot more to her than that. Useless? I think not who and where she is is a direct result of her feeling useless! Once under Tsunade's wing she turned it all around and to say she's anything but a top teir medical ninja is narrow minded. Like many young ladies she's got a list of bad choices on her sleeve and like so many these days has a coniving player side too. She's been sidelined for a while now but it'd be a mistake to write her off. Bitch? Karin fits that bill far more than Sakura and is really useless!

No, she was only thinking of Naruto's safety and this was her way of protecting him from getting into anymore danger going after him.

like I said. please stop arguing with Kishimoto's words..

That is probably true but it still doesnt negate the fact that she had her own reasons beyond concern for Naruto and that is what Ive been trying to argue here.

Here.

Well this is selective reading, why do you only take Sais word on relieving Naruto of his burden and not his as well as Kakashis word on her wanting to go after Sasuke alone? The Sasuke thing was selfish in that she (mostly importantly) ignored Narutos feelings on the issue because of her own feelings for Sasuke.

You doubted Sai's words about being it for Naruto. Sai never said it's for Sasuke. He said it's for Naruto's sake.

Could you please explain this then?

Fairly simple. But no one took the time to even think about it.
Let's go back a bit... What does Sai knows exactly about Sasuke's and Sakura's relationship to one another? Nothing.
So, you might wonder, why he said that? Well, let's remember one thing back in this time. Naruto said to Sai that Sakura loved Sasuke (but why? Sakura-chan loves Sasuke so much?! -> or something like that), so based on that, Sai came to the conclusion that based on Naruto's statement (Sakura loves Sasuke) and some personal beliefs (Sasuke sinking into darkness, which he witnessed himself, as well as wanting to save him in her own way, thing that he also knows for himself as he witnessed how Sakura and Naruto are trying to save Sasuke), Sakura's motive was the presented one.
But the "because she loves him" idea came from Naruto, as Sai doesn't know that, he hasn't seen Sakura's interaction with Sasuke, only Sakura's interaction with Naruto.

Hope you understood what I meant.

you didn't get what I meant. It says in the manga that Sakura was only thinking of Naruto yet people continue to disagree with it

Could you please quote me and explain where I doubted Sais words. On the Sasuke issue, I meant explain in the context of my argument, what you have done is explain the situation but what I argued was that this suggests Sakura had her own reasons here other than Naruto, you need to argue against this contention not explain the chapter.

i get what you are trying to say but its wrong.....

if she was only thinking abt naruto and had absolutely no feelings for sasuke she should have done the job she set out to do i.e killing sasuke .... but she didn't or she couldn't and this itself should make it clear that she had feelings for sasuke

We are disagreeing with an interpretive conclusion ("But the fact that she is doing it this way is because she is "only" thinking of Naruto") not with the quote.

There you go again disagreeing with the words from the manga.. "she was only thinking of Naruto"

*sigh* when did I say she has no feelings for Sasuke? Like I said earlier the fact that she went about it this way was because Naruto was in danger chasing after Sasuke and she wanted to negate her promise to protect him from doing anything more.
