Why is it really that Karin is such a disliked character?

Its no secret that Karin is probably the most disliked character in the Naruto fan population. The most common reason Ive generally seen is that shes "useless" but I dont think thats true, her overall feats throughout the manga far outweigh any other character in the K11 bar Naruto.

I think the reason she is hated is simply her personality/character: shes whiny, temperamental, loud, impulsive and sentimental, i.e., she is the embodiment of the word b!tch (its like shes on her period 24/7 and this is especially true of the animes portrayal of her character).

When I watched anime, I developed an instinctive dislike of her character for these reasons, I see complaints about her role in the manga as rationalization tbh, I think those of us who dislike her simply dislike her essential character traits.

Never really spared her a thought. However when you think about it, she must of grew up with Orochimaru as a role model so anything bad about her character is understandable

Well lets say like Sakura reason being Sasuke he tried to kill if you think about it why love someone who tried to kill you?For me being that reason her and sakura piss me off i rather just read manga for fights and to learn something new.

When Karin comes to mind I usually think about a fangirl... and a bitch. Then again my memory isn't the best there is so I can't really say if my description of her is that accurate, so yeah I do have a slight dislike associated with her, but I don't hate her or dislike her as much as Sakura.

Karin's ok. She was alone guarding a prison cell for a very long time, it is understandable she'd be a little horny and kind of have a bitchy attitude.
