It's hilarious how Hinata was hyped up to be the one to stop Toneri only for Naruto to do it, because this exemplifies pretty much all the flaws in the series in one go - No females allowed to be badass, no one but Naruto can make a difference and the same thing can be said to Boruto.
When only the Last Movie shows Hinata important because of Pairing then what makes you think Hinata will be as important as Naruto. See You're the one who can't acknowledge the obvious fact here because lets face it; Hinata only roles in Boruto is to have some training session with her son only to serve plot device for Boruto. After that Hinata will just stuck in doing home chores just like how female characters are ought to be. That's that, she's a plot device fodder just like how her cousin Neji who was once played the most important factor in Naruto was reduced to pairing device fodder.

And Sasuke isn't MC when the Boruto anime taking place in academy arc before Gaiden/Movie started.

Both NH and SS are one sided pairing with poorly developed; SS is much worse but it makes no difference since the whole Pain arc and even Neji death cemented nothing for NH to get together. The movie completely disregarded these events which completely undermine NH pairing.

Once again proving Hinata is more or less like Sakura except that Hinata is more tolerable as a character; and if thats not enough to convince you; Hinata has less screen time than Sasuke as well as the new gen in Boruto movie; Hinata would've done alot for Boruto but instead she does nothing but to feel sympathize for her son. That itself speaks volume of how little contribution she plays in.
