yeah, your username IS pretty lame. LMAO
I get that hidan and kakuzu are cool because of just being bad for no reason, but thats not enough for me. I think their fighting styles are boring. I actually like zetsu because hes useful and not dead like hidan and kakuzu. (or buried in the dirt alive w/e). Zetsu has amazing abilities and i like konans abilities as well. she was the closest to ****ing obito's ******* permanently and is also a sexy bitchh.
Well kakuzu> konan but thats for the versus threads![]()
And Their designs were also just bad ass .. And earth Grundge Fear? thats a badass technique Lol so much badass
Anyways you can have your own opinion on who you like ... as long as its not sasuke![]()
Well I'll start with Kakuzu
First off his appearance. I personally think he has one of the coolest looks in the manga. The Green and red eyes were unique. Then he wore that awesome mask...add on the Akatsuki Cloak and there you go...legitimate!
Then his personality. A fair number of villains in Naruto tend to be arrogant in nature such as Deidara and Hidan. Kakuzu on the other hand, was far more analytical and collected as opposed to just spouting arrogant one liners every second he whipped out a new technique. That aspect of him being an intelligent combatant like Kakashi and Shikamaru as opposed to just an arrogant super powered villain was appealing to me.
Then you find out about his past, and his money obsession (his only flaw for me) makes sense. Kakuzu was probably the strongest shinobi in Takigakure. So as an elite shinobi he gets a mission to assassinate Hashirama....HAHAHAHA assasinate Hashirama Senji...that's basically impossible. So naturall he fails (we've seen several reasons why Hashirama wouldn't lose....especially since Kakuzu didn't even have Earth Grudge Fear at this time! So when he returns...having actually survived against Hashirama, instead of being congradulated for surviving or honored for trying....he is persecuted, rediculed, and imprisoned for failing to kill probably the strongest shinobi we have seen. After a BS treatment like that...it only makes sense that he loathes humanity, and only trusts money.
Finally his fighting style...we just learn that at best a good Jonin knows 2 elements, and this crazy bast*** goes and whips out all of them except for Water (though he uses it in the anime...possibly even his primary element except he uses the masks as they provide more jutsu). All of his attacks had large range affects, and were all given cool names (Zukkaku, Asugai, Gian, and Domu...Earth Spear). The Earth Spear technique was basically invulnerable unless against Raiton (it was as hard as daimond).
The overall best thing was that Kakuzu practically dominated the fight....We had Kakashi a fighting genius, Shikamaru a tactical genius, Choji with extreme physical strength, and Ino for support and even healing. And Kakuzu not just once, but twice places Kakashi in kill positions...some may say, "Kamui!!!" However, the first time Kakshi was in pain and his eyes were closed. He only even survived that because Hidan was rather block headed and didn't think to make sure he cut Shikamaru...I'd think he should have been able to feel a cut if he made one. The second time, he was already basically firing his technique! So really Kakuzu basically dominated Kakashi twice, and easily was taking down Choji and Ino.
Even with Naruto and Yamato showing up, they still had trouble with Kakuzu...who would have killed Naruo (though against orders) had it not been for Yamato and Kakahsi comming to his aid.
Take it however you like, but his death will forever be a troll in my head...here you have a guy who is completely calm and focused (not in a blind rage), and nearly 8 decades of combat experince (on top of his own natural talent), and you mean to tell me he falls for the same Shadow Clone feint TWICE?! I cannot believe that. He strategically goes into long range mode, and instead of fighting from long range, he jumps forward?!!!! No way U.U!
That would be why I like Kakuzu...though he was kinda money obsessed, he was a monster. I also love history so his long life aspect was also really cool!
As far as Hidan goes...I mostly agree with you. He kinda annoyed me, but when Kakuzu pointed out his flawed logics...his freak outs were hilarious!!! Fighting with a scyth was origional though!!! Other than the humor he brought...I didn't really like him. I would have preffered Kakuzu to work with Kisame!
he had a backstory. his village forgot its killing ways and became a resort. for someone raised from childhood to kill, this was a betrayal,so he turned to jashin and killed his villageHidan has no back story; We know he got immortallity from a god and enjoys killing people.
kakuzu has one of the saddest and most brutal backstories so far. just having immortality and having to watch humanity kill itself for 91 years is enough to make anyone pretty crazyPersonally, I like my villains to have a reason behind their madness, but some others apparentely just like bad guy make bad things happen.
why bash important characters we are blatantly told by kishi we should like (itachi)? because i want to.Why bashing irrelevant dead characters who even already barely have fans?
