From the looks of it Hashirama is going to fight Madara and Minato going against Obito. So what's left for Naruto?
I mean if he's not going to beat either Madara or Obito, then why is he the main character?
I don't care about the fight with Sasgei; I never saw Sasuke as anything to be hyped for, like really, even if he wins against Sasuke, it doesn't mean jack to me.
So all these 624 chapters of training just for him to beat Sasuke? . After all this training and 9 tails hype I want to see the main character Naruto destroy Madara+Obito+ the juubi all by himself!

Am I asking too much here? He's the main character after all...

none of these chapters imply that anyone is going to fight anyone. they could jump in the war and all work together for all we know. who the hell knows what sasukes gonna do when the explanation is over.
