Why Is Hashirima Senju so Weak?

this thread explains why I think Hashirama is so overhyped. Hiruzen wasn't godly powerful, and Hashirama and Tobirama couldn't even beat him together. Yet Madara says Hashirama is the strongest man who ever lived. Kishi is either trolling us, or he's contradicting himself.

I thought Orochimaru was controlling them fully so they didn't have control of what they did, so Hashirama didn't get to use all his jutsu since Orochimaru didn't know it all. Or maybe it's because they were in too small of a place?

There is no such thing as the edo tensei was imperfect ..
the manga states orochimaru perfected edo tensei

these are the reason why they where weak
1.Barrier stopped them from using most techs
2.orochimaru was controlling them 100%
3.orochimaru didnt know how to use their techs ...
4. he only made them toy with him ...because thats how he is
5.orochimaru probably didnt know some of their techs
6.Again orochimaru uses different tags from kabuto
its all down to how orochimaru controlled them really at this point because they didnt show any sign that they where controlling themselves or they would have been talking to hiruzen and stuff and saying blahblahblah edo blahlabhblah sorry for creating this tech

well i think the reason why he had to controll them 100% is cuz they prob both knew how to get out of it like madara...tobirama made it so understandble...he might have taught it to his brother or something (the way to escape) incase someone used it on them.

It was simply down to plot no jutsu. That is it. Even if Hashirama had used Flower Tree World etc, the outcome would've remained the same. Hiruzen would've defeated the two former Hokage and crippled Orochimaru.
