Why is gaara overrated!?

hmm; i have this friend who solemly thinks that gaara can beat jiraiya, danzo, sasuke, itachi, tobi (etc).. that can only happen if they were to fight him crippled and blind; quite frankly, i kinda like gaara but he is no match for all the uchihas, danzo, jiraiya, kakashi, tobi etc!

Gaara is not overrated, I think he's one of the few characters people actually rate correctly. At least from what I've seen here anyway, and by the way your friends an idiot. Don't listen to anything Naruto related that flies out of his mouth.

I think the way gaara is now, He can beat Danzo,kakashi,Jiraiya, and maybe stand a good chance against a lot of other S-ranks. But it's not so one-sided. Depends on a lot of stuff. Technically, Gaara could just rise up on his sand and Coat everyone in sand which would make him win. I actually don't know why he doesnt. So in theory he could own many people. But he doesn't fight like a 3 year old girl so would probably put himself in danger a lot more than he needs to. He isn't able to own everyone though, that's stupid.
