Why is everyone flipping out about 599? (spoilers)

The masked man is Obito, end of story. Why is everyone trying to make all of these excuses and reasons about it not actually being him. There are several ways he could have lived through that based on what we know of this series, Hell to be honest when he "died" in the series you see a rock fall on him, the eye transplant, and then boulders falling over his body. with everything orochimaru and zetsu have shown is possible why can we not just accept the fact that THE MASKED MAN IS OBITO lol

well if u had read the manga from the start u would know by now that obito was a small boy when the nine tails attack happened and he wasnt the one who fought minato coz obito was a student of minato same kakashi and rin ... so its ridiculous to think that its obito except for the fact tobi is using obito's body

I have read the manga from the begining and who is to say that the masked man that minato fought was the same one as who we are seeing now? obito could be carrying on with what that one started. Obito almost lost rin and for all we know countless other friends in that war, why wouldnt he want to end war totally so that no one else has to suffer that pain again.

I'm not really "flipping out" about this but this chapters revelation does bring more questions than answers.

For instance: Didn't Tobi say that he gave Nagato the rinnegan. I could be wrong but I vaguely remember that somewhere. And if he did, how and when? Isn't Obito much younger than Nagato. My head hurts trying to find explanations. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride and see where it goes.
