[Question] Why is doffy being underestimated lol?

- I don't think he's gone all out throughout this fight...
- he's still calm lol
- he's getting used as a punching bag to showcase luffys new power (kinda like what happens whenever a new power gets introduced in any anime...)

IMO luffy alone won't be able to beat doffy, law is nearly healed now, he will come back and help luffy. Tbh I want law to kill or atleast beat doffy given their past...

Btw where is Sabo going? Wasn't he meant to head over to where luffy was or what???

I agree he is underestimated but that was kind of expected since people are so hyped over gear 4th. I do hope that Law delivers the finishing blows to kill Doflamingo and Sabo is heading towards where Koala is, which is the palace. (not the top though)

At the moment he is also having knowledge problems concerning a new and because of this is making poor choices of defense. I have no doubt in my mind that when he will grasp the full mechanism behind Luffy's new mode, the battle will be more even. Even in latest chapter, he could fight Luffy back here:

Only that he didn't know Luffy could still be rubber while clad in armament, so his blunt attack didn't work, but what if it was a cutting attack? What if the attack was more powerful?

- Doflamingo took 3 named attack(from Luffy in gear4) while in a already critical condition all that without slowing down

If anything i'm more impressed by Doflamingo's reaction speed, physical stat and endurance after latest chapter

Luffy has reinforced his armament haki with the increased elasticity.. so unless and until the "cutting attack" is extremely powerful, luffy can defend it using his haki, and all the blunt attacks using haki+elasticity..

Doflamingo certainly wasn't calm in the chapter, if you go back and you reread he is getting increasingly frustrated.

Luffy and Doflamingo or on the opposite end of the island now, even if Sabo is going to where they were he would have to turn around.

And if you pay attention, it was established that Law is out, everyone has made it clear that he can't fight for a while.

The fight is not over but Luffy will finish this with the only help being Zorro and friends taking down the bird cage at most.

notice how gear 2nd ( Blueno) and gear 3rd (Lucci) were revealed in that arc. What if Oda decides to do the same in this arc against doffy? We have yet to witness the full extent of his abilities.

I really don't get why everyone is so upset about it.

Every villain is wanked and appears all powerful, yet in the end they all end up the same way, humiliated and face first in the mud thanks to Luffy.

Doflamingo isn't the final villain of the manga, nor is he even the final villain of the saga, he is no different then other big villains were before they fell in their arcs.

Crocodile and Lucci were the same way, they were both able to manhandle Luffy at first but Luffy still brought them down in the end.

Well yeah, that is how fiction like One Piece works.

Yet people are shocked when the hero starts winning against the bad guy and go on about how the hero can't possibly beat him.

I think its because in most final battles the MC should struggle a lot. In other words people think doffy still has more because luffy hasnt almost lost yet. Its shonen so its very likely that luffy will be close to losing in some form or another, it will probably be due to some drawback of G4 though, rather than doffy having more power hidden.

Or Doflamingo will come up with a strategy like playing for time for the bird cage to kill everyone.

I think whats going to happen is this will turn into a race against the time fight, Luffy can defeat Doflamingo but the problem is getting it done before everyone is killed by the bird cage or before G4 times out, as like you said there will likely be drawbacks to it and I suspect that it will have a time limit on it before Luffy can't maintain it any longer.

I think Koala was keeping an eye on the CP0, And sabo is heading towards the same place. Most likely CP-0 is upto some business on Dressrossa.
