Danzo is way to under rated and its wierd that ppl dont see how strong he was.
Rivals
1st of all he was Hiruzens rival. So he has to be able to compete with him around his prime or a bit b4 Hiruzen became hokage.
I mean if u say he wasnt u sound just dumb. Look at these rivals and we can see there about equal.
- sasuke n naruto
-Madara n Hashirama
-jman n oro
-kakashi n guy
These guys all are close in battle and the only one made fact that theres a winner is Madara vs hashi cuz we've actualty been told of that fight. The others we culd say they can go either way. Same thing with hiruzen and Danzo they were rivals.
Danzo's abilities
Danzo had hashi genes, so he had a gaint boost in chakra. He culd also use wood release with consumption of lots of chakra. He's also got tons of sharingan for izanagi and MS. Shisui's eye also had the ability to Put u in the highest of lvl genjustu.
Shisui vs Danzo
He also beat Shisui in a fight. Shisui says that Danzo "TOOK" his left eye. That means it wasnt willingly. Shisui had to MS. That means he had his special genjutsu thing and tsukyomi + Susanoo cuz he had 2 MS. On top of that he was called "Shisui of the Body Flicker". Master of the body flicker tech that lets u move at extreme speeds and is also a type of telportation jutsu. Danzo didnt even have sharingan to keep up with shisui so Danzo had to be beast to beat Shisui with everything he had.
Danzo vs Sasuke
Danzo's fight with sasuke was no where near his best. B4 he even started fighting he said "i have'nt fought a very long time". He did pretty good fighting an MS user at his age and not fighting for so long. He also culdnt use his MS thanks to his MS cool down time. He was also trying to hold back to beat Tobi. On top of that Karin kept on saving Sasuke during that fight. And danzo culd of killed Sasuke 2x but stopped to talk for 5mins both times and then plot no jutsu saved sasuke again. It was like oro vs hiruzen, even emna said he didnt seem himself, same situation here.Danzo wasnt at his best.
Conclusion
Danzo was on par with a shinobi said to be god lvl. Danzo is way to under rated, being called weakest kage.
